Sanfrè Rice Fair
Last day of the fair featuring the renowned "Sanfrè Rice," celebrated through dinners, tastings, and shows
For decades, the Pro Loco has been guarding the tradition of the Patronal Feast of the Corpi Santi.
Since 2015, this event has been enriched with the Sanfrè Rice Fair, created to celebrate the excellence of local rice.
The event takes place every year at the beginning of October, in perfect coincidence with the threshing period, offering an authentic gastronomic experience that enhances the deep bond between the land and the table.

Start the day with the right energy at the trendiest event of the moment!
Join us for an authentic farmer’s breakfast with typical Roero products and all the energy of DJ Lorenzo.

Market of wonders and farmers’ market
An unmissable market to discover and purchase typical and local products from Slow Food Earth Markets, crafts, antiques, and exchange.

Vintage vehicle rally
Registration from 9:00 AM and departure at 11:00 AM.
The tourist tour will stop at Allocco farm and Sanfrè Castle for a visit with refreshments and tasting of white and red wines.
The price of €12.00 per person includes both refreshments, a voucher for a dish and drink at the Street Food.

Rice and wellness activities
Rice in proper nutrition, beauty treatments, and a healthy lifestyle.
Stands and demonstrations of activities related to psychophysical wellness will be present, in collaboration with Opes Italia, Piedmont regional committee.

Cooking show
Two Chefs, two cultures, and two ways of interpreting rice.
Villa Rambaudi’s kitchen offers two rice dishes inspired by different traditions: chef Cristian Broccoli will prepare a dish inspired by Asian cuisine, while Mattias Russo will present a typical recipe from Argentina, his country of origin.
During the Cooking Show you can watch the preparation of the dishes and taste both proposals.

Arroz con leche for snack time
We’re waiting for you at snack time to taste this creamy spoon dessert, spiced and fragrant, prepared with rice slowly cooked in milk.

Choreographic parade with vintage cars
Models competing for Miss and Mister Rice Fair parade aboard vintage cars, accompanied by the flag throwers and musicians group from Cherasco.
4:00 PM outdoor area
Sanfrè Fashion Sunday
Fashion show in which the new Miss and Mister Rice Fair 2026 will be crowned.
Many young models will also walk the runway.
