San Martino National Fair: the Fair’s large market
Third day of the Fair with awards, fresh pasta workshops, Oriental-themed showcooking, and the energy of the Flag-wavers' entertainment
The Historic Center of Chieri (Piazza Cavour, Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, Via Palazzo di Città, Piazza Umberto I) hosts the 48th San Martino National Fair.
Local and national food and wine, food retail, gift items, and much more.
Following the success of previous editions, the highly anticipated San Martino Fair returns to Chieri for a weekend dedicated to traditional flavors.
Large market of the fair
7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Via Roma, Piazza Europa, Via Vittone, Via Vittorio Emanuele II
A traditional and extensive market, with stalls of various kinds (products, crafts, diverse goods), ideal for those who want to browse through many offers.
The large market will also take place on November 10.
Agricultural fair
8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Scotti parking area and Via Campo Archero
Exhibition of agricultural machinery, equipment, and products for livestock feeding organized by Pro Chieri.
An event dedicated to the world of agriculture and livestock farming, featuring displays of innovative machinery, technological systems, and animal feed products.
An opportunity for meeting and discussion for industry operators, enthusiasts, and families interested in discovering the excellence of the territory and the latest news in the agricultural sector.
The agricultural fair will also take place on November 10.
Educational farm
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Scotti parking area and Via Campo Archero
One of the most beloved traditions of the San Martino Fair in Chieri returns: the Educational Farm, an educational experience designed for families and children, allowing direct contact with the rural world.
There will be farm animals, with hands-on activities to bring the little ones closer to the local agricultural culture.

Traditional games
10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Via Palazzo di Città
An area dedicated to children with traditional games to discover the fun of the past with wooden toys, without electricity but full of magic.
Salami toss
10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Piazza Cavour
In a fun themed stand, children and adults can enjoy throwing fluorescent rings to hit one of the much-coveted salamis.
You will need precision, a touch of luck, and a great desire to get involved: those who succeed in the feat will take home a real artisanal salami.
Asia and Piedmont: Oriental tea, Piedmontese-style ramen, and micro-pastry
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, Pala San Martino, Piazza Umberto I
A journey through cultures and flavors with Gigi Berruti and Mattia Pognante, who will present a live showcooking where the Orient and Piedmontese tradition meet.
From the preparation of ramen reinterpreted with typical products of Chieri and the Carmagnola area, to the suggestions of micro-pastry, an original tasting journey through contaminations, creativity, and taste.
Village of food excellence
10:00 AM – 8:00 PM, Via Palazzo di Città and Via Vittorio Emanuele II
A journey through the flavors and scents of Piedmont: producers and agri-food companies present their excellence, featuring tastings, samples, and direct sales of the region’s finest products.
Piazza del Gusto

Stands serving the finest excellence of the Piedmontese and national food and wine tradition.
The gems of the Chieri and Carmagnola food district
11:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Pala San Martino, Piazza Umberto I
Showcooking by the chefs of the Chieri-Carmagnola Food District, who will bring to life a menu inspired by the territory using one or more District products.
An opportunity to discover recipes, techniques, and pairings that enhance local agri-food excellence, telling its story, quality, and tradition through cooking.
Plin lab
12:00 PM – 1:30 PM, Pala San Martino, Piazza Umberto I
Discover the secrets of plin, a symbol of Piedmontese tradition, in a practical workshop led by Gigi Berruti, a teacher at CIOFS-FP in Chieri.
An engaging experience, designed for an adult audience, that will guide participants in the preparation of the famous stuffed pasta, featuring artisanal techniques, expert advice, and the enhancement of local flavors. Workshop by reservation
Chieri D+ Award
2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Pala San Martino, Piazza Umberto I
The Chieri D+ Award returns again this year, the recognition with which the City pays tribute to a personality who, through their commitment, talent, and the results achieved, has contributed to giving prestige and value to the name of Chieri.
A moment full of meaning that will celebrate a figure deeply linked to the territory and capable of distinguishing themselves far beyond the city boundaries.

The heart of Chieri
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Piazza Umberto I
A symbolic maxi-installation that celebrates the identity and traditions of the city.
A large heart, composed of dozens of Galuci, will take shape before the eyes of the public to tell the story of the bond that unites Chieri to its most representative products.
But the work, created in collaboration with the Ciochevale Association, will also be a gesture of sharing: after the ritual photo, the heart will be distributed to all the public present, with the Galuci distributed free of charge, transforming a symbol of love for Chieri into a festive moment to be lived and tasted together!
Goodness Award
4:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Pala San Martino, Piazza Umberto I
Every year the Goodness Award pays tribute to a person who, through their commitment, generosity, and example, has distinguished themselves in the service of the Chieri community, leaving a concrete mark in the social and human sphere.
Who will be the recipient of the 2026 edition?
The answer will be revealed during the award ceremony, in a moment dedicated to the value of solidarity and commitment to others.
Flag-wavers of Cherasco
4:00 PM – 4:45 PM, traveling through the streets of the center
The performances of the Flag-wavers of Cherasco will feature tradition, rhythm, and spectacularity, protagonists of engaging choreographies that combine technical skill, music, and colors.
A journey into the historical atmospheres of the territory through the charm of flags, drums, and the evolutions that will enliven the squares and streets of the historic center with energy and suggestion.
White parade
5:00 PM – 5:45 PM, traveling through the streets of the center
An explosion of energy, music, and spectacle in a traveling parade with a unique charm.
Artists dressed in white will cross the streets of the city, engaging the public with performances, rhythm, and animation, transforming urban spaces into an open-air stage.
An engaging and evocative event capable of giving emotions and surprising spectators of all ages.
All about Freisa
5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, Pala San Martino, Piazza Umberto I
A journey to discover the versatility of one of the most identifying grape varieties of Piedmont.
Through a tasting of different interpretations of Freisa, vinified in different ways, it will be possible to savor its many nuances, from scents to flavors, discovering how the same grape variety can express itself in surprising and original ways.
Flag-wavers of Cherasco
5:45 PM – 6:30 PM, traveling through the streets of the center
Second appointment with the Flag-wavers of Cherasco, who will return to enliven the streets of the historic center with their spectacular performances.
Between flag twirling, rhythms of drums, and scenic choreographies, the group will accompany the public on an evocative journey into historical tradition, offering emotions and spectacle until the final evolution.
White parade
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM, traveling through the streets of the center
The magic of the White Parade returns with a second appointment dedicated to spectacle, music, and public engagement.
A traveling parade with a strong scenic impact will accompany adults and children through the streets of the center, with performances, animation, and surprising moments capable of transforming the city into an open-air stage.
The Fair
The San Martino Fair in Chieri is a historic event held in the historic center of the city near Turin; in 2025, it took place from November 7 to 11 with the new format by SGP.
The event is also confirmed for the 2026 edition, a weekend dedicated to traditional tastes and flavors featuring entertainment shows, workshops, tastings, showcooking, renowned guests from the national food and wine scene, and much more.
The 2026 edition will take place from November 6 to 8, alongside the Agricultural Fair, which will instead end on November 10.
