Guided museum tours to discover the events and curiosities of one of the most important battles fought by foreign armies on Italian territory
The Battle Museum, created by repurposing the spaces of the old market wing of the Municipality of Ceresole d’Alba, will allow visitors to discover the events and curiosities of one of the most important battles fought by foreign armies on Italian territory: the Battle of Ceresole d’Alba.
The protagonists of the clash, which took place on April 14, 1544, were the French army of Francesco I and the Imperial army led by Charles V, who fought each other to gain dominance over Italian territory.
The clash, which saw around 30 thousand soldiers take part, ended with the victory of the French army.
The visit will aim to recount the battle and highlight the close bond between the territory of Ceresole d’Alba and its extraordinary history, rich in vicissitudes.
Among the rooms of the exhibition space, visitors can embark on a journey to discover the battle, admiring the testimonies and historical relics carefully preserved over the centuries.
