A walk at sunset, a festival among the Alta Langa hills and a night to experience with your eyes on the stars, among wishes and wonders.
All the magic of a country evening on the panoramic hills of San Donato del Mango
The hike will start from the hamlet of San Donato di Mango, a beautiful Langhe location, extraordinarily panoramic.
On these hills the view takes in a very wide area: the Langhe and Roero, Monferrato, the Turin hills, and the Alps.
We’ll walk along panoramic ridges and curious trails that evoke the presence of fantastic creatures (the Muscatel and Nymphs trail) to reach the village of Mango.
We’ll return to San Donato along a small road that borders woods and vineyards where there is no artificial lighting (the best condition for stargazing)
On the occasion of the patronal feast of San Donato, upon return and before the shooting stars, we can celebrate this magical night together with the dishes offered by the pro loco:
and of course beer or wine and dancing… under the stars
The Magic of Shooting Stars: once night falls, those who wish can observe the spectacle of shooting stars from a panoramic spot.
