A summer evening among wind, stars and nature to discover the Strada Romantica of Langhe and Roero through night trekking, land art and contemporary music, in a dialogue between landscape, art and starry sky that anticipates the themes of Alba Italian City of Contemporary Art 2027.
Moonlit walk of about an hour and a half through vineyards and medieval squares, accompanied by a naturalist guide.
Grand finale in front of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul with the Alba-born pianist and composer Emiliano Blangero, born in 2000, who will perform pieces from his latest album “Someplace” with a small chamber ensemble: a musical journey that invites an escape from reality through the piano, in dialogue with the hills and the silence.
Trained alongside masters such as Ezio Bosso and Roberto Cacciapaglia, Blangero debuted with Believe Music and Inri Classic, before arriving at Decca Records/Universal Music Italia with “Someplace”.
Also an author for other artists, he recently collaborated with the rapper Lazza on the album “Sirio Concertos” and with Michele Morrone on the single “Push Me”.
Already a face of the Eurovision Song Contest 2022, in the past year he has performed as solo pianist on numerous stages and was pianist on Lazza’s tour, runner-up at Sanremo 2023, playing in Italy’s main arenas and at the Arena di Verona.
Note: as this is a territory affected by the presence of African swine fever, participants will be asked to bring a change of trousers and shoes, as required by Ministerial Order PSA no. 4/2026.
African swine fever is in no way contagious to humans: this is a precaution to protect wildlife.
Organized by the Strada Romantica of Langhe and Roero and by Turismo in Langa APS with the contribution of Fondazione CRC and with the patronage of the Ecomuseo delle Rocche del Roero.
The initiative follows a format very similar to what was already proposed throughout the summer by the latter, the “Notturni nelle Rocche”, with great public success.
