A summer evening among wind, stars and nature to discover the Strada Romantica of Langhe and Roero through night trekking, land art and contemporary music, in a dialogue between landscape, art and starry sky that anticipates the themes of Alba Italian City of Contemporary Art 2027.
Evening trek of approximately 5.3 km, accompanied by a nature guide, to the highest panoramic point of Langhe (896 m).
The evening concludes with the inauguration of the land art installation “Sospensione gravitazionale” by Diego Repetto, in collaboration with musician Antonio Aiazzi, and a tasting of typical local products.
The intervention will give shape to an “ephemeral room”, a temporary space where the material and immaterial intertwine, transforming the place into a field of emotional and cultural resonance, in the most authentic spirit of Alba 2027.
“Sospensione gravitazionale” is a perceptual paradox: a large pin suspended over absolute black generates a tension between attraction and absence, where the void becomes an invisible field capable of altering the perception of the landscape and the stability of the observer.
Followed by a tasting of typical local products.
Note: as this is a territory affected by the presence of African swine fever, participants will be asked to bring a change of trousers and shoes, as required by Ministerial Order PSA no. 4/2026.
African swine fever is in no way contagious to humans: this is a precaution to protect wildlife.
Organized by the Strada Romantica of Langhe and Roero and by Turismo in Langa APS with the contribution of Fondazione CRC and with the patronage of the Ecomuseo delle Rocche del Roero.
The initiative follows a format very similar to what was already proposed throughout the summer by the latter, the “Notturni nelle Rocche”, with great public success.
