Mataria’d Langa: Gang

The traditional appointment with music, theater, art, and gastronomy: rock music takes the stage

In Roddino the new edition of the now traditional event with music, theater art and gastronomy Mataria ‘d Langa, organized by the Pro Loco Roddino Tourist Association, is starting again.

Street food

The evening kicks off at 7:00 PM with street-food style food.

The concerts

The evening continues from 8:00 PM with music by:

  • La Rosa Tatuata
  • Ginevra di Marco
  • GANG

In Roddino, Gang and Ginevra Di Marco share the same stage for a special evening.

Two different paths, united by the same drive toward stories, people, and roots.

Gang’s narrative rock meets the deep, folk voice of Ginevra Di Marco. A concert that is an encounter, memory, and the present.

One of the most intense evenings of Mataria ’d Langa.

The country

Roddino is a small village suspended between the rich Langa of Barolo and the Alta Langa.

Music and truffles, commitment and lightheartedness, roots and future.

Roddino is all of this, and it tells its story through two events that express its soul: the Fair as a celebration of the land, and Mataria as a collective exercise in culture, freedom, and dreams.

Both are only possible thanks to the community: 80 volunteers, out of 420 inhabitants, bring something extraordinary to life every year.

The party

Since its debut in 1992, Mataria ‘d Langa has never been just a simple music festival.

It is a collective ritual, a stage for ideas, a place where people listen, think, dance, and build community.

In these thirty-three years, it has hosted giants of the Italian and international music scene: from Billy Bragg to Subsonica, Max Gazzè to Africa Unite, Eugenio Finardi to Mau Mau, Modena City Ramblers to Cristiano Godano, Casino Royale to Massimo Bubola, and Lucio Corsi, who took second place at Sanremo after his 2024 live performance in Roddino.

Mataria has brought luck to many artists, but above all, it has built a lasting emotional bond with those who play and those who listen.
