From Grape to Bottle: creative workshop for children

An afternoon of celebration, tradition, and conviviality, designed for young and old alike, to experience together the magic of the harvest

September is harvest month, and there’s no better opportunity to discover, together with the little ones, how wine is born.

Founded by grandfather Genio in 1947 and now led by Gianni with his sister Paola, the Gianni Doglia estate is known for its vineyard care and respect for nature, with sustainable viticulture that honors native grape varieties and particular attention to quality.

An afternoon of discovery dedicated to children

The afternoon will be a true journey among the vine rows and through the cellar.

The youngest will be guided through the discovery of the winemaking process.

After a walk through the vineyard to taste the sweet Moscato grapes, we will return to the cellar to stomp the grapes with our feet.

After the snack, the children will be engaged in creating crafts with materials from the grape pressing and in personalizing the label for the wine bottle they will take home as a keepsake of the day.

The tasting dedicated to adults

While the children play and learn, adults will be able to discover the most representative wines of the Gianni Doglia winery, awarded Winemaker of the Year by Gambero Rosso.

The Gianni Doglia Estate

The Gianni Doglia winery is a family-run business located in Castagnole delle Lanze, a town that, thanks to its cultural, landscape and food and wine peculiarities, entered the list of the most beautiful villages in Italy in 2023.

Here, approximately 17 hectares are cultivated across Castagnole delle Lanze, Coazzolo, and Nizza Monferrato, with a sustainable approach that includes manual work, spontaneous grassing, and minimal use of treatments.

Each glass thus becomes a genuine expression of Monferrato and the passion that has animated the family for generations.
