Pepper Fair: Levante
The Fair welcomes to the stage grit, style and a voice that goes straight to the heart.
Every year Carmagnola hosts the National Pepper Fair.
It is one of the largest and most qualified Italian events in the food and wine sector and the largest dedicated to an agricultural product, each year offering gastronomic, cultural, artistic, and sporting events and creative and engaging experiences for all senses and all age groups.

Awards ceremony for the pepper contest and urban pepper contest

Who will have grown the most incredible Pepper of the year? In this ceremony, the excellence of local agriculture will take the stage and the farm presenting the heaviest pepper will be awarded.
Citizens and schools who have accepted the same challenge will also be present, and only one of them will win the Urban Pepper award.
Boia Funk! The rhythm that takes over the square

Boia Funk is a project formed in 2018, born from the desire to bring a live show featuring the great hits of different genres, but reimagined in a Funk style, inspired by the American collective Scary Pockets.
In their first year of activity they won the Bit Music Contest and, as a prize, took the stage opening for Mr. Rain at his concert.
After performing on several well-known stages in the Turin scene (Magazzini di Gilgamesh, Jazz Club, Capolinea8, Birra Ceca Pub82 and others) they opened a concert for Statuto in 2022.

Confagricoltura Torino: The agricultural excellence of the region takes center stage at the fair

Confagricoltura Torino will be present at the event with some member farms, offering the public an opportunity to discover and taste some of the finest excellence of the region.
The stars of the event will be the signature products of local agricultural tradition, from cheeses to cured meats, to the essential Carmagnola Pepper, an iconic expression of the region’s fruit and vegetable production
Fair Tastings: tasting by exhibiting companies – Bergamo Mountains

An event dedicated to the authentic flavors of the Bergamo mountains, told through the experience of someone who for over twenty years has lived and worked at altitude, managing a CAI Bergamo refuge at 2,000 meters and, for four years, the Baita della Diga di Valgoglio.
A journey through pastures, mountain-raised animals and artisanal productions tied to tradition: cheeses made exclusively with raw milk and cured meats without lactose and without gluten.
The stars of the event will also be casoncelli alla bergamasca, prepared following an ancient medieval recipe passed down within the family: a dish that becomes an opportunity to tell the story of history, gastronomic culture and knowledge preserved over time.

The Fair
The National Pepper Fair of Carmagnola returns with a new edition full of flavors, events and tradition, accompanied by the lively Foro Festival, which enlivens the evenings with music, shows and performances.
The absolute star is the famous pepper, symbol of the territory, celebrated through exhibitions, tastings, cooking shows, cultural meetings and entertainment for all ages.
