Terre Alte on the occasion of Ferragosto organizes truly special excursions in the territory of Alta Langa, far from the noise of the crowds and from mass tourism destinations.
There on the authentic Langa where the hills lose themselves in the emerald green of lush nature, where the fragrances of the sea arrive and where silence reigns.
A route of great scenic beauty on the hills of Alta Langa, between Igliano and Torresina, among ancient paths, infinite panoramas and the history of ancient battles.
The panoramic places we will cross were the scene of battle during the first Italian campaign: in April 1796 Napoleon chose to cross the passes between the Maritime Alps and the Ligurian Apennines to continue toward Mondovì and the plain.
We will follow panoramic paths that will lead us to discover a territory of great scenic beauty, we will cross historic hamlets, ancient ovens, bridges and fountains of historic memory, immersed in a natural environment of great beauty.
The route crosses mainly shady and wooded places with openings onto the bricchi situated above 500m altitude.
At the end of the excursion, for those who wish, a convivial and delicious moment is planned at “I Sentieri del Gusto” Silvana Home Restaurant.
Silvana will welcome us on the terrace to let us savor summer and genuine dishes made with garden produce and quality ingredients.
