Fenced garden
Sit down and relax in the beautiful fenced garden. There is enough shade, a BBQ, and comfortable lounge chairs.
The view at night is to die for. When the sun sets over the hills, first the landscape colours pink and purple.
When the night comes, the lights on the hills across the valey start flickering. With the lit-up castle of Serralunga d'Alba there, it is a view to never forget.
La Gioiosa also offers a chef's service: Have the best Piemontese home cooked dinner overlooking your own pool! You can discuss your wishes with the chef, and he will make an unforgetable experience for you.
Patio and terraces
The patio is the heart of La Gioiosa. Here you can sit down for a true Italian 'al fresco' dinner. The Italian dream!! Freshly made food at a long table with friends and family...... Buon apetito.
THE LARGE HOUSE
Large kitchen and dining room
We offer a large kitchen and big dining area for large groups. Previous guests have described the atmosphere as being in a castle. The antique furniture and the natural stone walls greatly add to the charm of this authentic italian countryside villa.
At the same time it is a brand new, modern kitchen equiped with a professional oven, double sinks and double dishwashers, and a large fridge with ice-maker. The perfect start for a nice dinner or a cool drink at the pool.
The kitchen is large enough to organize a cooking class. Why not come with a group of friends and have some cooking classes in Piemontese cuisine. We would happily organize this for you.

Six bedrooms en-suite with airco
All bedrooms have 2 single beds that can be used as a double. Just indicate your wishes and we'll prepare the beds for you.
All bedrooms are large and comfortable with their own private bathroom with a shower, toilet and bidet. Two bathrooms also have a bath: one with view over the hills, the other with a private yoga/meditation corner.
All rooms also have a window and/or balcony and air-contitioning. Lastly, the rooms have a wardrobe so you will feel truly at home.
All bathrooms are modern and light, with shower / bath, toilet and bidet.
Living room with fire place
La Gioiosa is fully equiped for large groups. Hence the living room provides ample sofa's and chairs, and a large fire place, so also on a rainy day you will still have a great time together.
In the living room is a library with many books and magazines. Feel free to explore, lend a book, and leave one for the next guest. For children and families we keep a selection of toys and games.

THE SMALL HOUSE
Kitchen and dining room
The ground floor of the small house has a simple kitchen / dining room equiped for 6 people.
The house has its own private garden at the back, where you can have lunch in the sun, or read a book in quietness.
The authenticity of the wood beamed ceilings and antique furniture, makes for a real Italian stay.
Three bedrooms en-suite
All rooms have their own entrance, The upstairs bedrooms are reached via an external stairs for full privacy. They have a large sun terrace to the south, and balconies overlooking the patio and swimming pool.
Also in the small house all rooms have airconditioning and an en-suite bathroom with showere, toilet and bidet.
The ground floor bedroom is very large and especially suitable for families as 2 extra beds can be placed for (small) children.
Private terrace and garden
The small house has its own south-facing garden and large terrace.
